محمدرضا منصوری، یکی از برجسته‌ترین کمک‌داوران تاریخ فوتبال ایران، پس از نزدیک به دو دهه حضور در بالاترین سطح داوری جهان، به استرالیا مهاجرت کرده و فصل تازه‌ای از فعالیت خود را در این کشور آغاز کرده است.
منصوری متولد ۳ خرداد ۱۳۵۷ است و فعالیت داوری خود را از سال ۱۳۷۷ آغاز کرد. او از سال ۱۳۸۴ به جمع داوران لیگ برتر فوتبال ایران پیوست و طی بیش از ۱۸ سال، در مهم‌ترین مسابقات داخلی و بین‌المللی پرچم زد.
در کارنامه پربار او، ۱۲ شهرآورد بزرگ تهران و همکاری با داوران سرشناسی چون علیرضا فغانی، رضا سخندان، موعود بنیادی‌فر و محسن ترکی به چشم می‌خورد.
درخشش جهانی با پرچم ایران
محمدرضا منصوری، عضوی ثابت از تیم داوری ایرانی در رقابت‌های بزرگ جهانی بود. او در دو جام جهانی (۲۰۱۸ روسیه و ۲۰۲۲ قطر) حضور یافت و در بازی‌های حساس و پرهیجان، پرچم ایران را در معتبرترین تورنمنت‌های فیفا به اهتزاز درآورد.
در جام جهانی روسیه، او همراه با علیرضا فغانی و رضا سخندان دیدارهایی چون آلمان–مکزیک، صربستان–برزیل، فرانسه–آرژانتین و مسابقه رده‌بندی بین بلژیک و انگلیس را قضاوت کرد.
در جام جهانی ۲۰۲۲ قطر نیز در دیدارهای برزیل–صربستان و پرتغال–اروگوئه حضور داشت و بار دیگر نام داوری ایران را در سطح جهانی مطرح کرد.
اما افتخارات بین‌المللی او تنها به جام جهانی محدود نمی‌شود.
منصوری کمک‌داور فینال جام باشگاه‌های جهان ۲۰۱۵ در ژاپن،
کمک‌داور فینال المپیک ریو ۲۰۱۶ در برزیل
و کمک‌داور نیمه‌نهایی جام کنفدراسیون‌ها ۲۰۱۷ در روسیه بود — سه تجربه‌ای که او را در میان پرافتخارترین داوران تاریخ فوتبال ایران قرار داده است.
او همچنین در جام ملت‌های آسیا ۲۰۱۹ در امارات، در دیدارهایی چون ژاپن–ترکمنستان و اردن–ویتنام حضور داشت و عملکرد درخشانی از خود به‌جا گذاشت.
خداحافظی بی‌صدا با میادین ایران
پس از بیش از ۱۸ سال حضور مستمر در سطح اول فوتبال ایران، محمدرضا منصوری بدون برگزاری بازی خداحافظی و به‌دور از هیاهوی رسانه‌ای از میادین کشور کناره گرفت.
او در گفت‌وگوهای غیررسمی اشاره کرده بود که اگر محدودیت سنی داوران در ایران وجود نداشت، می‌توانست چند سال دیگر نیز در سطح حرفه‌ای ادامه دهد.
با این حال، در استرالیا چنین محدودیتی وجود ندارد؛ و همین موضوع فرصتی تازه برای تداوم حضور او در فضای داوری – این‌بار در مقام ناظر – فراهم کرده است.
آغاز فصلی تازه در استرالیا
محمدرضا منصوری اکنون در شهر پرت (Perth) در غرب استرالیا زندگی می‌کند و بیش از دو سال است که در این کشور اقامت دارد. او دیگر در میادین قضاوت نمی‌کند، اما همچنان با تجربه ارزشمند خود در قالب ناظر رسمی داوری به جامعه فوتبال استرالیا کمک می‌کند.
منصوری با سابقه‌ای درخشان شامل حضور در دو جام جهانی، یک جام ملت‌های آسیا، سه تورنمنت جهانی بزرگ و دوازده دربی پایتخت، از چهره‌های پرافتخار و افتخارآفرین فوتبال ایران است؛ داوری که بی‌هیاهو از میادین ایران خداحافظی کرد، اما همچنان پرچم ایران را در زمین‌های فوتبال جهان برافراشته نگه می‌دارد.

Mohammadreza Mansouri, one of the most distinguished assistant referees in the history of Iranian football, has embarked on a new chapter of his professional life in Australia after nearly two decades of officiating at the highest international level.
Born on 24 May 1978 (3 Khordad 1357), Mansouri began his refereeing career in 1998 and joined Iran’s top-flight referees in 2005. Over more than 18 years, he officiated in major domestic and international competitions, including 12 Tehran derbies, working alongside prominent referees such as Alireza Faghani, Reza Sokhandan, Moud Bonyadifar, and Mohsen Torki.
Global Achievements Under the Iranian Flag
Mansouri was a key member of Iran’s elite refereeing team at the highest level of world football. He represented Iran in two FIFA World Cups – Russia 2018 and Qatar 2022, proudly raising the Iranian flag in some of the tournament’s most thrilling and high-profile matches.
In Russia, he officiated alongside Alireza Faghani and Reza Sokhandan in matches including Germany vs. Mexico, Serbia vs. Brazil, France vs. Argentina, and the third-place playoff between Belgium and England — performances widely praised by FIFA observers.
In Qatar, he again showcased his excellence as assistant referee in Brazil vs. Serbia and Portugal vs. Uruguay, reaffirming Iran’s strong standing in world officiating.
Beyond the World Cup, Mansouri’s international résumé is nothing short of exceptional.
He served as assistant referee for the final of the 2015 FIFA Club World Cup in Japan,
assistant referee for the final of the 2016 Rio Olympic Games in Brazil,
and assistant referee for the semi-final of the 2017 FIFA Confederations Cup in Russia — achievements that place him among the most decorated referees in Iran’s football history.
He also officiated in the 2019 AFC Asian Cup in the UAE, taking part in notable matches such as Japan vs. Turkmenistan and Jordan vs. Vietnam, earning high praise for his performance.
A Quiet Farewell to Iranian Football
After over 18 years of service at the top tier of Iranian football, Mohammadreza Mansouri stepped away from the field quietly — without a farewell match or media spotlight.
In informal conversations, he mentioned that if the age limit for referees in Iran did not exist, he could have continued officiating at the professional level for several more years.
In Australia, however, such restrictions do not apply — offering him the opportunity to remain involved in football, this time as a referee assessor and observer rather than an active match official.
A New Chapter in Australia
Now based in Perth, Western Australia, Mansouri has been living in the country for over two years. While he no longer officiates matches, he continues to contribute his vast international experience as an official referee observer, supporting the growth of Australian football.
With a remarkable record that includes two World Cups, one AFC Asian Cup, three major FIFA tournaments, and twelve Tehran derbies, Mohammadreza Mansouri stands as one of the most accomplished and respected assistant referees in Iranian football history — a man who left the pitch in silence, yet continues to keep Iran’s flag raised high across the football fields of the world.
