یک برنامه حضوری ویژه سالمندان، با محور افزایش آگاهی درباره کلاهبرداریهای اینترنتی و تلفنی، روز پنجشنبه ۸ اکتبر ۲۰۲۶ در رینگوود، در شرق ملبورن برگزار میشود. در این برنامه، کارگاه آگاهی درباره کلاهبرداریها با حضور Google برگزار خواهد شد و نمایندگانی از Services Australia، Bendigo Bank، شورای شهر Maroondah و پلیس محلی نیز حضور خواهند داشت.
به گزارش رادیو نشاط، دفتر Matt Gregg، نماینده فدرال حوزه Deakin، از سالمندان سراسر این حوزه و اعضای جامعه محلی دعوت کرده است تا در برنامه Seniors Morning Tea که بهصورت حضوری در Central Ringwood Community Centre برگزار میشود، شرکت کنند.
یکی از بخشهای اصلی این برنامه، کارگاه آگاهی درباره کلاهبرداریها با حضور Google است. در این کارگاه، اطلاعات و راهکارهای عملی برای کمک به سالمندان در زمینه محافظت از خود و عزیزانشان در برابر کلاهبرداریهای اینترنتی و تلفنی ارائه خواهد شد.
همچنین نمایندگانی از Services Australia، Bendigo Bank، Maroondah City Council و پلیس محلی در این برنامه حضور خواهند داشت تا با شرکتکنندگان گفتوگو کنند، به پرسشهای آنان پاسخ دهند و اطلاعاتی درباره خدمات خود ارائه کنند.
این برنامه همچنین فرصتی برای سالمندان فراهم میکند تا ضمن دیدار و ارتباط با دیگر اعضای جامعه محلی، با برخی خدمات و امکانات در دسترس سالمندان بیشتر آشنا شوند.

Online and Phone Scam Awareness Workshop for Seniors in Melbourne
An in-person event for seniors, focusing on raising awareness of online and phone scams, will be held in Ringwood in Melbourne’s eastern suburbs on Thursday, 8 October 2026. The event will include a scam awareness workshop with Google, along with representatives from Services Australia, Bendigo Bank, Maroondah City Council and local police.
According to Radio Neshat, the office of Matt Gregg MP, Federal Member for Deakin, has invited seniors across Deakin and members of the local community to attend a Seniors Morning Tea, which will be held in person at the Central Ringwood Community Centre.
One of the key features of the event will be a scam awareness workshop with Google, providing practical information to help seniors protect themselves and their loved ones from online and phone scams.
Representatives from Services Australia, Bendigo Bank, Maroondah City Council and local police will also be in attendance. They will be available to speak with attendees, answer questions and provide information about their services.
The event will also provide an opportunity for seniors to connect with members of the local community while learning more about services and support available to them.
