تنش در کنفرانس خبری بازی زنان ایران و استرالیا در گلدکوست؛ خبرنگار رادیو نشاط از طرح سؤال محروم شد و میکروفن از او گرفته شد، اتفاقی که باعث شد دیگر خبرنگاران حاضر نیز درباره دلیل این محدودیت پیگیری کنند.

 
رادیونشاط- دیدار تیم‌های ملی فوتبال زنان ایران و استرالیا در چارچوب رقابت‌های جام ملت‌های آسیا در شهر گلدکوست استرالیا با حواشی قابل توجهی همراه بود؛ حواشی‌ای که از ساعاتی پیش از آغاز مسابقه در اطراف ورزشگاه آغاز شد و تا کنفرانس خبری پس از بازی ادامه یافت.

حضور منسجم تماشاگران ایرانی در حمایت از زنان ایران

از ساعاتی پیش از آغاز مسابقه، شماری از ایرانیان ساکن استرالیا در اطراف ورزشگاه شهر گلدکوست حضور یافتند و با در دست داشتن پرچم‌های شیر و خورشید و سر دادن شعارهایی، حمایت خود را از دختران تیم ملی فوتبال زنان ایران و همچنین خیزش مردم ایران اعلام کردند.

این حضور در داخل ورزشگاه نیز ادامه یافت و تماشاگران ایرانی با نمایش پرچم‌ها و سر دادن شعارها، فضای متفاوتی در سکوهای ورزشگاه ایجاد کردند و تلاش کردند پیام حمایت خود از زنان ایران و مطالبات مردم این کشور را به گوش جهانیان برسانند.

شعارهای اعتراضی علیه سرپرست کاروان

در پایان این مسابقه نیز شماری از تماشاگران ایرانی شعارهای اعتراضی علیه محمد رحمان سالاری، عضو هیأت رئیسه فدراسیون فوتبال جمهوری اسلامی ایران سر دادند.

سالاری که در سفر تیم فوتبال زنان ایران به استرالیا نقش سرپرست کاروان تیم ملی را بر عهده دارد، در عمل بخش مهمی از امور امنیتی و نظارتی تیم را نیز مدیریت می‌کند. گفته می‌شود از آنجا که نماینده حراست فدراسیون فوتبال موفق به دریافت ویزا برای این سفر نشده است، مسئولیت‌های مرتبط با کنترل و نظارت بر تیم به او واگذار شده است.

جلوگیری از طرح سؤال خبرنگار رادیو نشاط

پس از پایان مسابقه و در جریان کنفرانس خبری، پیش از آغاز نشست به خبرنگاران رادیو نشاط گفته شد که تنها مجاز هستند سؤالاتی در ارتباط با مسائل فنی فوتبال مطرح کنند. این در حالی بود که چنین محدودیتی به‌صورت عمومی برای سایر خبرنگاران حاضر در نشست اعلام نشد.

در ادامه، زمانی که خبرنگار رادیو نشاط قصد داشت سؤال خود را به زبان فارسی مطرح کند، با وجود حضور مترجم رسمی در محل، اجازه طرح سؤال داده نشد و میکروفن از او گرفته شد.

این در حالی است که بر اساس روال معمول در کنفرانس‌های خبری مسابقات بین‌المللی فوتبال، خبرنگاران می‌توانند پرسش‌های خود را به زبان مادری مطرح کنند و مترجم رسمی نشست وظیفه ترجمه آن را برای مربیان یا بازیکنان بر عهده دارد.

پیگیری خبرنگاران پس از ایجاد تنش

پس از آنکه اجازه طرح سؤال به خبرنگاران رادیو نشاط داده نشد، فضای کنفرانس خبری برای لحظاتی متشنج شد. در پی اعتراض خبرنگاران رادیو نشاط، برخی دیگر از خبرنگاران حاضر در نشست نیز درباره دلیل این محدودیت پیگیری کردند.

خبرنگاران رادیو نشاط در گفت‌وگو با خبرنگاران حاضر توضیح دادند که شب پیش از این مسابقه، در برنامه‌های تلویزیون ملی ایران، برخی از بازیکنان تیم ملی فوتبال زنان ایران به دلیل نخواندن سرود ملی در دیدار مقابل کره جنوبی با تهدید به «محاکمه جنگی» مواجه شده‌اند؛ موضوعی که نگرانی‌هایی درباره امنیت این بازیکنان ایجاد کرده است.

فشار برای اجرای سلام نظامی

همچنین در جریان دیدار ایران و استرالیا، برخی از بازیکنان تیم ملی فوتبال زنان ایران پس از پایان مسابقه اقدام به اجرای سلام نظامی کردند؛ اقدامی که به گفته منابع نزدیک به تیم، تحت فشار و با درخواست مسئولان همراه کاروان انجام شده است.

خبرنگار رادیو نشاط در این نشست تأکید کرد که اگر هرگونه فشار یا لابی‌گری سیاسی در روند اطلاع‌رسانی یا مدیریت رسانه‌ای این مسابقات صورت گرفته باشد، چنین اقدامی می‌تواند نقطه‌ای تاریک در کارنامه نهاد برگزارکننده این رقابت‌ها، یعنی کنفدراسیون فوتبال آسیا (AFC)، تلقی شود.

نگرانی برخی اعضای تیم از فشار و کنترل

در همین حال، برخی از همراهان کاروان و اعضای کادر فنی تیم نیز در گفت‌وگوهای غیررسمی با خبرنگاران رادیو نشاط نسبت به فضای فشار و کنترل شدید ابراز نگرانی کرده‌اند.

به گفته آنان، شرایط روحی اعضای تیم به دلیل بی‌خبری از وضعیت خانواده‌هایشان در ایران و شرایط جنگی بسیار دشوار است.

برخی از آنان گفته‌اند:

«ما از وضعیت خانواده‌های خود در ایران خبری نداریم و در این شرایط تحت فشار زیادی قرار داریم و گاهی احساس می‌کنیم بیشتر در وضعیت زندانی قرار گرفته‌ایم.»

حواشی در هتل محل اقامت تیم‌ها

خبرنگاران رادیو نشاط که برای پوشش این مسابقات در گلدکوست حضور داشتند، در همان هتلی اقامت داشتند که تیم‌های ملی ایران و استرالیا نیز در آن مستقر بودند.

با این حال، به گفته خبرنگاران این رسانه، اعضای تیم موسوم به حراست همراه کاروان فوتبال ایران در مواردی مانع گفت‌وگوی آزاد بازیکنان با خبرنگاران شده‌اند.

همچنین در یکی از موارد، نیروهای امنیتی هتل نیز برخورد تندی با خبرنگاران رادیو نشاط داشته‌اند. این موضوع از سوی رادیو نشاط به مدیریت هتل اعلام و ثبت شده و این رسانه اعلام کرده است که این مسئله را برای پیگیری‌های بعدی و احتمال طرح شکایت‌های حقوقی دنبال خواهد کرد.

تماس وکلای مهاجرت و نهادهای حقوق بشری

در همین حال، با توجه به حضور تیم ملی فوتبال زنان ایران در استرالیا، در روزهای اخیر تماس‌های متعددی از سوی وکلای برجسته حقوقی و مهاجرتی در استرالیا با رادیو نشاط برقرار شده است.

همچنین چندین نهاد مدافع حقوق بشر نیز اعلام کرده‌اند که در صورت تمایل اعضای تیم، آماده‌اند هرگونه حمایت و مشاوره لازم را برای بررسی مسیرهای اقامت قانونی در استرالیا در اختیار آنان قرار دهند.

رادیو نشاط این پیام‌ها و اعلام آمادگی‌ها را به اطلاع کادر فنی تیم و برخی از بازیکنان رسانده است.

بازی سرنوشت‌ساز ایران مقابل فیلیپین

تیم ملی فوتبال زنان ایران امروز (یکشنبه) در ادامه رقابت‌های جام ملت‌های آسیا در گلدکوست استرالیا به مصاف تیم فیلیپین خواهد رفت؛ دیداری که سومین و آخرین بازی ایران در مرحله گروهی این مسابقات محسوب می‌شود.

برای حفظ شانس صعود، تیم ایران در این مسابقه نیازمند کسب پیروزی است. با توجه به نتایج دو دیدار قبلی، ایران تنها در صورت برد مقابل فیلیپین و با توجه به نتایج سایر تیم‌های گروه می‌تواند امیدوار به صعود به مرحله بعد باشد.

From Spectators’ Chants and Lion and Sun Flags to Tensions at the Press Conference: Controversies Surrounding the Iran–Australia Women’s Match

Tensions emerged at the post-match press conference following the Iran–Australia women’s match on the Gold Coast, after a Radio Neshat journalist was prevented from asking a question and had the microphone taken away. The incident prompted other journalists present to question the reason for the restriction.

Radio Neshat – The match between the Iranian and Australian women’s national football teams, held as part of the AFC Women’s Asian Cup on Australia’s Gold Coast, was accompanied by a series of notable incidents. These began several hours before kick-off outside the stadium and continued through to the post-match press conference.

Coordinated Presence of Iranian Spectators in Support of Iranian Women

Several hours before the match, a number of Iranians living in Australia gathered around the stadium on the Gold Coast, carrying Lion and Sun flags and chanting slogans in support of the players of Iran’s women’s national football team, as well as the uprising of the Iranian people.

Their presence continued inside the stadium, where Iranian spectators displayed the flags and chanted slogans, creating a distinctive atmosphere in the stands and seeking to bring international attention to their support for Iranian women and the demands of the Iranian people.

Protest Chants Against the Head of the Iranian Delegation

At the conclusion of the match, a number of Iranian spectators also chanted slogans protesting against Mohammad Rahman Salari, a member of the executive board of the Football Federation of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

Salari, who is serving as the head of the Iranian women’s national team delegation during its visit to Australia, is also effectively overseeing significant aspects of the team’s security and supervision. It is understood that because a representative of the Football Federation’s security department was unable to obtain a visa for the trip, responsibilities relating to monitoring and supervision of the team were assigned to him.

Radio Neshat Journalist Prevented from Asking a Question

Following the match, and before the press conference began, Radio Neshat journalists were told that they would only be permitted to ask questions relating to technical football matters. No such restriction, however, was publicly announced for the other journalists attending the press conference.

Later, when a Radio Neshat journalist attempted to ask a question in Persian, permission to proceed was denied and the microphone was taken away, despite the presence of an official interpreter at the venue.

This is despite the usual practice at international football press conferences, where journalists may ask questions in their native language, with the official interpreter responsible for translating those questions for coaches or players.

Other Journalists Seek Answers After Tensions Emerge

After Radio Neshat journalists were prevented from asking their question, tensions briefly arose at the press conference. Following objections from Radio Neshat’s journalists, several other journalists present also sought an explanation for the restriction.

Radio Neshat journalists explained to their colleagues that on Iranian state television programs the night before the match, some members of Iran’s women’s national football team had faced threats of a “military trial” after not singing the national anthem during their match against South Korea — an issue that raised concerns about the players’ safety.

Pressure to Perform a Military Salute

During the Iran–Australia match, some players from Iran’s women’s national football team also performed a military salute after the match. According to sources close to the team, the gesture was carried out under pressure and at the request of officials accompanying the delegation.

Radio Neshat’s journalist stated at the press conference that if any form of political pressure or lobbying had influenced the media arrangements or management of the tournament, such conduct could represent a troubling mark on the record of the competition’s governing body, the Asian Football Confederation (AFC).

Concerns Among Some Team Members Over Pressure and Tight Controls

Meanwhile, some members of the delegation and coaching staff have also expressed concern in informal conversations with Radio Neshat journalists about what they described as an atmosphere of intense pressure and control.

According to them, the emotional and psychological situation for members of the team has been extremely difficult because they have had little or no information about the wellbeing of their families in Iran amid wartime conditions.

Some of them said:

“We have no information about the situation of our families in Iran. We are under enormous pressure in these circumstances, and at times we feel as though we are more like prisoners.”

Incidents at the Teams’ Hotel

Radio Neshat journalists covering the tournament on the Gold Coast were staying at the same hotel as the Iranian and Australian national teams.

According to Radio Neshat’s journalists, however, members of the group referred to as the Iranian delegation’s security personnel on several occasions prevented players from speaking freely with journalists.

In one incident, hotel security personnel also reportedly confronted Radio Neshat journalists in an aggressive manner. Radio Neshat subsequently reported and formally recorded the matter with hotel management and has stated that it intends to pursue the issue further, including the possibility of legal action.

Contact from Immigration Lawyers and Human Rights Organisations

In recent days, given the presence of Iran’s women’s national football team in Australia, Radio Neshat has received multiple approaches from prominent legal and immigration lawyers in Australia.

Several human rights organisations have also indicated that, should any members of the team wish to seek assistance, they are prepared to provide support and advice regarding possible pathways to lawful residence in Australia.

Radio Neshat has communicated these offers of assistance to members of the team’s coaching staff and to some of the players.

Crucial Match Against the Philippines

Iran’s women’s national football team will face the Philippines today, Sunday, on the Gold Coast in the AFC Women’s Asian Cup. The match will be Iran’s third and final fixture of the tournament’s group stage.

Iran needs a victory to keep its hopes of advancing alive. Given the results of its first two matches, Iran can only remain in contention for qualification by defeating the Philippines, while its prospects will also depend on other results in the group.
